CHANGE

We don’t see change because we are not speaking change and the reason why we are not seeing change is because we are not spending time with the change maker.

God starts out Genesis speaking change. We must first know that change comes from and through the Father. There is no change unless you speak it. Our mindset and words determine the direction we will go.

I remember when I first started to drive, my husband was in the passenger seat, and he showed me something and I turned my eyes in that direction. Guess what? My husband said to me, “Look where you are going.” The car started going in the direction of my eyes. I am telling you that story so that you understand that your life will go in the direction of your words.

In order for me to have it, I have to say it. In order for me to see change, I have to speak it. I have to speak the change that I desire to see manifested in my life and in the world. I have to take the Word of God and make it my priority, in the name of Jesus.

If I say that my body is healed, I have to stand right to defend what I say. In order for me to adamantly defend what I say, I have to first believe what God’s Word says about healing and stand on that belief. Regardless of what it looks like, I have to choose to believe what I have spoken based on God’s Word. Hallelujah.

If I say my body is healed, this is what I have to stand on:

WHO? My body is healed because Jesus, the Son of God is my Healer,

WHAT? My body must manifest my healing.

WHY? Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection has made my healing possible.

WHERE? On Calvary’s cross.

WHEN? Before the foundation of the earth.

My healing has to manifest because of the Blood of the Lamb.

My deliverance has to manifest because of the Blood of the Lamb.

My finances have to line up because of the Blood of the Lamb.

My marriage has to line up because of the Blood of the Lamb.

My children have to line up because of the Blood of the Lamb.

Everything that concerns me must line up because of the Blood of the Lamb.

The Lord is saying “stay in the moment,” for He is the God of the now. In other words, do not worry about tomorrow, for He will be right there to meet you in your tomorrow.

WE HAVE BEEN SILENCED.

As I sit in the doctor’s office, waiting to have my eyes examined, I noticed something that has become quite too familiar. We all had on masks coverings from our noses down.

We may think that COVID-19 is the cause and culprit for that. BUT let us take a closer look at what is really going on. Those of us who are called by His name ought to realize that we really have been silenced — especially in enclosed offices, supermarket, etc.  We should recognize that we can no longer speak to each other. We can not share our experiences with or about our doctor’s visit. More importantly, we cannot share our love for God with others as we sit in waiting rooms to be ushered into the doctor of dentist’s office.

We cannot encourage another patient who may not have had a conversation with anyone else in a week or more. Someone isolated, and in the waiting room wanting  to be asked “how are you doing to?” — so that they can feel connected to the outside world. Someone who has been just listening to/watching Social Media and the television all day and need to have someone to talk to -- to help calm their fears by telling them that God heard their prayers and it is going to be alright.  Someone, just perhaps is being abused at home and need to share their heart with someone else or just to get some advice.  BUT GOD.

We now must sit still in the doctor’s office, the dental office, and every other office that we go to In silence.

There are some people who love having the masks on their face, because they do not want to be bothered with people.  They are too hurt or angered to want someone to see the challenges that they are dealing with.  Despite the mask, we will continue to tell the masses of the love and generosity that You Daddy God has poured into us. 

Before my mother passed away from this earthly life and was in the hospital, I would go to the hospital and before I got to her room I would go into the other rooms and ask the people if they wanted me to pray with them.  So bad was it that my older sister would refuse to go to the hospital with me.  She said that I was embarrassing her.  Did I care?  No!  Not then, not now.  Even as a Volunteer Chaplin, I am now not allowed to go into the hospital now and minister to God’s people.  WE HAVE BEEN SILENCED. 

Will we sit still and let COVID-19 via satan, the god of this world system to stop us from spreading the Word of God?  I THINK NOT.

When we are silenced in offices or supermarkets and stores, we must now USE Social Media to spread God’s Word like never before.  NOT YOUR AGENDA, PLEASE – GOD’S AGENDA.  When we push God’s agenda, God will make come to pass that which He has ordained for our lives before the foundation of the world.  HE GOT YOU.  

4REAL SELF-EXAMINATION

As I was spending time in the Word earlier today, the idea came to me to start a Bible Study similar to the one that I had done when we had our Church. The Bible Study was named “faith versus facts.” I began to reminisce about how good it was to me to study on the above-mentioned topic and then for myself and the others who attended the Bible Study. My thoughts got interrupted by Proverbs 14:12 —“There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death” and Judges 17:6 — “in those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did what was right in his own eyes.” I felt an “oh oh” in my spirit.

I thought long and hard on those scriptures that interrupted my thoughts. I only WANT TO DO what is right and pleasing in God’s sight. I don’t want to do anything that makes me look good, spiritual and religious, but is not pleasing in the sight of God. I want to do what God called me to do — in the time that He has called me to do it.

I see so many people on Social Media using God’s Word frivolously,

just because they can, which may very well hurt the new converts in the long run. I don’t want to just abuse the prophetic anointing in my life to impress anyone. I only want to use it to glorify God. I want to have a Bible Study when God says “I have released you to teach this now”. I don’t want to prophesy, teach, preach or abuse any of the gifts God has given to me to be in competition with anyone else. Ultimately — I don’t want to hear “depart from me, you workers of inequity, I knew you not.” No buddy not me. And because I don’t want to hear those Words from my Father, I will again examine those words that interrupted my thoughts so that I can make sure that I do the Bible Study in God’s timing and not mine.

Now as you read this Blog, go make sure that you are one who is doing what is right and pleasing in your own sight.
