Words of Encouragement

We don’t see change because we are not speaking change and the reason why we are not seeing change is because we are not spending time with the change maker.

God starts out Genesis speaking change. We must first know that change comes from and through the Father. There is no change unless you speak it. Our mindset and words determine the direction we will go.

I remember when I first started to drive, my husband was in the passenger seat, and he showed me something and I turned my eyes in that direction. Guess what? My husband said to me, “Look where you are going.” The car started going in the direction of my eyes. I am telling you that story so that you understand that your life will go in the direction of your words.

In order for me to have it, I have to say it. In order for me to see change, I have to speak it. I have to speak the change that I desire to see manifested in my life and in the world. I have to take the Word of God and make it my priority, in the name of Jesus.

If I say that my body is healed, I have to stand right to defend what I say. In order for me to adamantly defend what I say, I have to first believe what God’s Word says about healing and stand on that belief. Regardless of what it looks like, I have to choose to believe what I have spoken based on God’s Word. Hallelujah.

If I say my body is healed, this is what I have to stand on:

WHO? My body is healed because Jesus, the Son of God is my Healer,

WHAT? My body must manifest my healing.

WHY? Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection has made my healing possible.

WHERE? On Calvary’s cross.

WHEN? Before the foundation of the earth.

My healing has to manifest because of the Blood of the Lamb.

My deliverance has to manifest because of the Blood of the Lamb.

My finances have to line up because of the Blood of the Lamb.

My marriage has to line up because of the Blood of the Lamb.

My children have to line up because of the Blood of the Lamb.

Everything that concerns me must line up because of the Blood of the Lamb.

The Lord is saying “stay in the moment,” for He is the God of the now. In other words, do not worry about tomorrow, for He will be right there to meet you in your tomorrow.

King David when confronted by Nathan the prophet, after he had gone into Bathsheba, said to God, "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me."

Never once did the scripture indicate that King David wondered if God was done with him or his ministry. He knew that he wanted a relationship with God, so he asked God to create in him a clean heart. "Create" means (1) "to make or produce (something); and (2) to cause (something new) to exist." In other words, King David was saying, "God, cause something new to exist in me." He knew that in him no good thing could be found and that He needed God to do something in him that would cause him to know that he still had a relationship with God.

Bathsheba was the wife of Uriah the Hittite. David saw her one day while she was talking a bath and lusted after her. Without thinking of the consequences, King David sent for Bathsheba and became intimate with her. The consequence of that intimacy produced a pregnancy and David realizing that he would be in trouble sent for Uriah to come home to spend time with his wife. Uriah came home but wouldn't go home to spend time with his wife. On seeing that, King David knew he was now in big trouble and sent Uriah back with a letter to the captain whom David instructed to put Uriah on the front line — ultimately to be killed in the battle.

Notice that David was not upset with Nathan for confronting him nor was he mad at God for the consequence of that pregnancy — which later resulted in that child dying. All King David knew was that He wanted the creation of a pure heart and the renewal of a steadfast spirit within himself.

We must understand that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life. Sin, when it is full blown, brings forth death. Sin is truly sweet but is only for a season and we are never told what the consequences would be.

How many times when we commit sin, we do not realize that the sin does not end with just the people involved. Sin is never yours or mine alone. Sin takes as many people with it as it could. Read about Kristina and her encounter with Steve below.

So here comes Kristina. She went to the Christmas party that her job hosted for all of their employees. Steve is married, but purposely he did not take his wife to the Christmas party. Why? He was already flirting with Kristina so his wife there would be a problem for him. After a couple of drinks, Kristina and Steve became very comfortable with each other and left the party together. Never did Kristina think that it would get to her being drunk and Steve spending the night at her house.

She is now pregnant and finds out about Steve's wife — Savana. Savana forgave her husband because he lied and said it was all Kristina's fault. Kristina in Savana's eyes now became the culprit who tried to seduce her husband. Kristina will not have an abortion and desires to keep her baby, but Steve is not having it. Steve walked out on her, left his job, and started working his own business so he could get away with not paying child support.

Kristina repented before God and had her son. Kristina is now trying to get her life back together. She now understands that she needs God to create in her a pure heart and the renewal of a right spirit.

If you find yourself in that position, please go to God. He loves you regardless of where you find yourself. His love will show you that when you put your trust in Him, He can create you anew in Him.

"But the Holy Spirit will come upon you and give you power. Then you will tell everyone about me in Jerusalem, in all Judea, in Samaria, and everywhere in the world." [Acts 1:8 – Contemporary English Version]

"But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth." [Acts 1:8 – Amplified Bible]

Why do you think Jesus would say the above-referenced scripture His disciples? He had already told them in John Chapter 14:15-18 that when He ascended back to the Father, He would send the Holy Spirit – the Comforter, the One who would lead them into all truth. The Holy Spirit would endow them with power and authority to bring glory to God’s name on the earth. They saw the blinded eyes open; they saw Lazarus raised from the dead after four days. They saw the feedings of both the 4,000 and the 5,000. They even saw Jesus speak and water was turned into wine – all those things were miraculous! Every miracle He performed the disciples were basically right there with Him. They had seen Him keep His promise of rising from the dead in three days. Why then would Jesus be repetitious? He knew that without the power – the Holy Spirit – there would be no spiritual power. We are living in a time when power is exhibited in every arena. Whether it is to get a certain basketball player for your team, to buy a car dealership, getting a singing contract for your daughter/son, etc. – power is wielded all around us. However, spiritual power – could come only by way of the Holy Spirit, living on the inside of the vessel yielded to God. Jesus knew that without the Holy Spirit living on the inside of them, the disciples would be no match for Satan – so He reminded them of the Holy Spirit who was yet to come.

Let’s look at power in the earth realm. In the earth realm when someone has the power, they can make major decisions and not even be questioned. Here’s an example: A sheriff sees an 18-wheeler driving at 80 miles per hour, puts his siren on, and signals for that 18-wheeler to stop. Technically, that 18-wheeler can keep going and not acknowledge that sheriff but know for a fact that the driver and the company He represents stand the chance of getting into a lot more trouble than if the driver pulled over and acknowledged the sheriff. The power that the sheriff is operating in, is the power given to him by the Government. He knows the driving that car and the wearing of that badge are far more powerful than any 18-wheeler because He was given the power and the authority to stop anyone operating outside of the confines of the law.

How does that relate to you in this present time? If Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior, then Acts 1:28 is speaking directly to you. You have the power – to do greater things – in this earth realm by the Holy Spirit that is living on the inside of you. You have the power the stop the devil in his tracks. The devil is counting on the fact that you don’t know or even understand the power that comes with the Holy Spirit living on the inside of you. If you ever need to yield yourself to the power of the Holy Spirit, now is the time. Presently, we are experiencing devastating weather conditions around the world, we are seeing more and more nations rising up against each other, debt is in the trillions. It is the Holy Spirit’s power than can heal the sick and disease, raise the dead, open blinded eyes, cause the lame to walk. The Spirit of the Lord is upon you. You are anointed to preach the Good News. It is the Holy Spirit living on the inside of you that is ushering in the wealth transference so that houses can be built for the poor, the sick can be visited and cared for and the hungry can be fed. Jesus said in Matthew 25:40 “And the King will reply to them, truly I tell you, in so far as you did it for one of the least of these My brethren, you did it for Me.” Let's use the power God has given us and take back the world for God.

I encourage you today to recognize the power that you have been given. I encourage you to allow the Holy Spirit to do God’s work through you.

Why Salvation?

So what exactly was Moses saying? The word that saves is right here as near as the tongue in your mouth, as close as the heart in your chest. Say the welcoming word to God - "Jesus is my Master" - embracing, body and soul, God's work of doing in us what he did in raising Jesus from the dead. That's it. You're not "doing" anything; you're simply calling out to God, trusting him to do it for you. That's salvation. With your whole being, you embrace God setting things right, and then you say it, right out loud: "God has set everything right between Him and me!"

(Romans 10:8-10 - The Message Bible).

Prayer for Salvation

God loves you so much that He allowed His Only Begotten Son to die on a cross for you. What Love! Would you give up your life or the life of one of your children so that I can live? I think not! That alone should let you know how much God loves you. If you have never made Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior, here's your opportunity.

"Lord Jesus, I come before you right now, acknowledging that I am a sinner in need of a Savior. I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth, that You died on a cross, for my sins, You arose on the third day and is now sitting on the right side of God, the Father. I need Your help. I, therefore, come to You asking for forgiveness of my sins and am accepting You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You, for Your unconditional love". If you have never said this prayer before, you are now a new creature in Christ Jesus, old things have passed away, all things about you have become new.

(2nd Corinthians 5:17)

I encourage you to find a Bible Teaching, Spirit-filled church and let them know the Good News, that Jesus is now Your Lord and Savior. Please feel free to email me at ITMGlobal.Org@gmail.com to let me know that you have surrendered your life to Christ.
